    Holiday Parties

    "I have a great pair of red cropped pants that I'd like to wear to holiday parties this season. I am thinking of doing a simple creamy silk cami and black blazer. However, being in Chicago, I am struggling with footwear in the cold weather. Can you suggest something that will go well with a cropped pant that provides some coverage? I don't have very long legs, so I don't want anything that will chop me up. I was thinking maybe a textured trouser sock, but with what type of shoe would work with that and the cropped length? Thanks!"
