Jen Michalski is currently a New York-based fashion stylist, editor and fashion insider for LookLab. While studying at Purdue University, she was able to explore the fashion industry through numerous internships in NYC including: Elle magazine, Cosmopolitan magazine, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Weeks, Gossip Girl and assisting various stylists. After graduation she moved to New York to pursue her dream of becoming a fashion stylist, kicking off her career with a position on the hit, fashion-forward television show, Gossip Girl. During her time at Gossip Girl, Jen played a key role across two seasons handling everything from shopping for the pieces worn on the show to assisting cast fittings. After parting ways with the show in 2011, she commenced work as a freelance fashion stylist and personal shopper with exposure to celebrity styling, international magazine editorials and cover shoots. In her spare time, she spends quality time with friends and family in both NYC and Chicago.

Raincoat for London "Summer"

"I live in London, and desperately want to find a light raincoat, preferably with a hood for this temperamental British climate - it is raining in July! I would like to be able to layer it coming into the autumn. I would prefer if it was waterproof or highly water resistant, as for me the sole purpose of wearing it is so as not to get drenched!"

Orlando Wedding

"My son is getting married on 12/12/12 in the Orlando area and I need to figure out what to wear. It will be an outdoor wedding. They plan on using a lot of red (flowers/decorations) in their wedding (being near Christmas. I live in Wisconsin and having a hard time finding something to wear. I would like to wear more of a dressy pants suit but unsure of what color to not clash with their color theme. Also since I am 5'10'' and usually wear at size 18/20 in pants/jeans (very busty and curves) wanted to know what you might suggest for a pants suit (length 33 inches for jeans) that would be appropriate for a mid-morning outdoor wedding. Not knowing what the weather will be like in December in Orlando, may need to have a light jacket with a sleeve. Since I do not live near them, I will be on my own for figuring out what to wear and is appropriate."
