“I think you can make a long maxi skirt anything you'd like. It's like jeans. You can dress it up or down. I would stick to cardigans that have a pattern or that are sheer so you don't look bogged down with loads of fabric. If you want to do an evening blazer I would go with a cropped version to give yourself a waist and show off your silhouette. The shirt above from TopShop is also a perfect transition shirt. You can keep it simple and wear it with your skirt and some sandals or you can load up with necklaces, bracelets and throw on some high heels at night.”
