The Look Lab typically offers microneedling in four to six sessions, depending on the individual skin needs of the patient. The sessions are typically one month apart to allow healing and rejuvenation effects to take place. It will take several weeks for the skin to repair itself, with final results visible in three to six months. Patients with severe scars, deep wrinkles, or more extensive sun damage may require up to eight microneedle therapy sessions, with possibly longer intervals of six weeks between sessions.

What to Expect After Microneedling Treatments

After a microneedling treatment your skin will likely feel warm and a little tight. Most will experience a slight red or pink sunburn-like tinge to their skin, usually between one and four days, depending on severity of skin damage and depth of repair. The Look Lab technicians will recommend a balm or serum that can lessen any discomfort you may feel. The downtime is minimal for this non-surgical, effective treatment.
